The 8th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress took place in London this week, from July 21st – 26th 2023. It was last held in London 27 years ago.
There were numerous panels, sessions, key-note speeches and socials about young Zoroastrians and their future.
Young Zoroastrians from all over the globe flew in from over 15 different countries.
The congress across six days hosted panels, seminars, thought sessions about the future of the community, interfaith marriage, mental health, anti-normative career choices.

Jasmine Dotiwala is a British broadcaster, producer, and columnist. Dotiwala has worked with television and radio news platforms such as MTV, Channel 4 and BBC Radio London. She has written or blogged on publications including Huffington Post UK and The Voice.[1]
Early life
[edit]Jasmine Dotiwala grew up in Southall, West London,[2] where she attended Featherstone High School.[3] She participated in the performing arts through her childhood; she began dance training when she was seven years old and started to teach dance by fifteen.[4][5] After earning eight O-Levels, she read dance and drama at Surrey University and graduated in 1992.[3][4]
Career
[edit]Dotiwala was first employed by production company Planet 24, which worked on the morning show The Big Breakfast, until she successfully auditioned for co-host of the Channel 4 programme The Word in 1994.[6][7] After she co-hosted The Word for several years, she moved to MTV Europe where she was a presenter for MTV News, before becoming senior producer of shows including Making the Video and MTV Cribs.[8][1] In 2006, she became hea
